Every year some Midland Families need a little extra help covering school lunches.
Rope Youth has been involved with feeding local kids through their in-school Weekend Food Bag program, and Summer Food Trucks feeding program for many years now. Over the past five years they have fed over 60,000 youth in Midland! But it doesn’t stop there for them. They have a mission to eliminate student lunch dept in Midland. This would ensure all kids would have access to food during the school year; regardless of what life looks like at home.
With a passion for feeding the hungry, this is a cause that hits close to home for me.
When Karl reached out with his idea for how Simply Sourdough could be involved – it was the easiest YES ever!
Join us Sunday, March 22 at Tall City Brewing Co.(12–6pm) for Grilled Cheese for a Cause, and help us raise money to pay down school lunch dept in Midland.
